Tucked in Pigalle near the Moulin Rouge, Moon City is Paris’s wildest wet spa – full of steam, skin, and sexual tension. Here’s what to expect (and what to avoid) when you strip down and step in.

👀 First Impressions – Eclipse doesn’t shout “sex club” and that’s the point. Nestled discreetly on a residential stretch in central Paris, this unmarked door buzzes you into a whole different world. But fair warning: don’t ring the wrong bell. One couple accidentally wandered into the all-male club next door and got a good laugh for it.

Entry includes two drink tokens, towels, sarongs, and a handy little velcro condom pouch because, well, priorities. There’s no sexy hostess or flashy check-in. You’re handed your gear, pointed toward the stairs, and boom – everyone’s naked and nobody’s pretending otherwise. It’s egalitarian, steamy, and a little intimidating in the best way.

🎟️ Inside Tour – Eclipse stretches across three levels, each with its own vibe. You enter on the middle floor, where the bar and a generously sized jacuzzi hold court. This area is social, slightly chaotic, and always buzzing with semi-nude energy. A mix of rock wall decor and dim red lighting gives it a DIY spa feel.

Head downstairs and you’ll find the spa proper –  locker rooms, a co-ed steam room, showers, and tiled corners where couples can start heating things up. Then make your way upstairs, where things go from warm to wanton. This is where the play happens – open mattresses, sex swings, voyeur windows, and small rooms for more private encounters. The layout creates a natural flow from flirt to foreplay to full-on spectacle.

🥂 Bar – There’s no DJ screaming over the sound system and no awkward dance floor hovering in the corner. Instead, the bar keeps it simple for your included 2 free drinks – strong pours, soft beats, and low lighting. Drinks are more functional than fancy, but the vibe is cozy and relaxed. The bartenders keep things discreet and unintrusive, letting the atmosphere stay sensual, not performative.

🍒 Playrooms – Upstairs is where things get deliciously carnal. The main playroom is a padded wonderland – imagine three king-sized yoga mats merged into one open orgy zone, with benches around the perimeter for those who want to watch, rest, or casually stroke something while spectating. Smaller rooms offer a sex swing, private nooks, and voyeur setups where exhibitionists can thrive and introverts can ease in.

Consent here is very European – nonverbal, assumed until denied. That means you may feel a hand before you hear a “hello.” For experienced players, it’s sexy. For newbies, it might feel bold, but “no” is always respected when stated. Everyone plays, but nobody pressures. You’ll see couples of all ages going at it, parallel play, full swap, and everything in between. It’s not a question of if you’ll see sex – it’s whether you’ll join in.

💦 Spa – The centerpiece of Eclipse is its massive, always-bubbling hot tub on the main floor. Couples lounge in the warm water, sip strong cocktails, and flirt beneath dim lighting that begs for a little mischief. People wander in and out – some just chatting, others slipping into more heated encounters. While play is prohibited in the tub, the bouncers were chill, and the tension stayed deliciously high. It’s spa treatment with a side of sexual electricity.

🌡️ Hammam & SaunaHead downstairs for the hammam, where steam clouds the air and clothes disappear. It’s a sensual fog of nudity and whispered touches, perfect for sparking low-pressure encounters. Up top, the dry sauna and showers double as discreet performance zones. The vibe is relaxed, the equipment is functional, and stone steps can get slippery – so play safe.

🔥 Vibe Check – Eclipse is intimate, inclusive, and effortlessly erotic. The couples-only rule shifts everything – it filters out the chaos of aggressive single men and replaces it with a more grounded, sensual crowd. Expect everyone from hot 20-somethings to elegant 60-somethings, all comfortable in their skin and in their sarongs. Communication can be a challenge – most guests speak only French, but smiles, nods, and body language go surprisingly far.

There’s no pressure to perform, but don’t expect endless chitchat either. Most couples come with a plan: explore, indulge, and connect—sometimes with others, sometimes just with each other in a room full of sexy background noise.

Should You Go? – Yes, if you’re a couple looking for a relaxed, sensual spa club without the chaos of single guys lurking in every corner. Eclipse feels like a warm bath for your libido – low-pressure, low-pretense, and all about the shared experience. Skip it if you’re hoping for an English-speaking crowd, a high-glam nightclub experience, or overt matchmaking.

PRO TIP:  Midweek visits bring softer vibes and more space to soak it all in. Just watch those slippery stone stairs if things get too heated.
